Post-Sauder Employment

2018 Sauder grad here. Someone said BCIT beats out Sauder and it's true because they hold skills. Sauder teaches you to think and you gotta network yourself and sell yourself out there. Hence the snaking and the holding various executive positions at pointless organizations to resume build that you constantly see in upper year Sauder. If you've done those things, you can find a job fairly well. Accounting majors can land in a big4 but they pay very low, you would make 4x more joining the army lol. However these big companies train you to get your CPA or higher pay long term.

I found a job pretty easily but I was very very lucky. I pretty much said in my interviews I don't have a long list of accomplishments on my resume, I didn't do co-op, I spent my summers welding everyday full time for my dad's company. I guess that showed I am able to learn and I work hard, which beats being a VP as (random organization) for a few months and repeat on your resume IMO.
