A friend and I pain-stakingly built up a relatively huge base so we could store our car there first and foremost. We had no idea cars would ruin themselves by teleporting into other objects upon server restarts so the first time we found our car with 3 ruined tires I set up alone to find replacement tires. Luck was on my side and I soon found the same model, fixed it up and brought it back to base. I spotted an ADA on the way though and I luckily had stocked car parts knowing they'd get stolen eventually so I used those to fix up the ADA and brought it back to base.

So we now had 3 cars in our base. Took out all the parts except radiator and tires and hid them very well. Logged in a day after, all cars gone. Ever since then I'm waiting in the shadows for them to fix the issues.
