Yes he was overweight by 60 lbs(?). He road a beach cruiser to and from his land surveyor's job ever day (approximately 5 miles one way). He wasn't a desk jockey. He was stressed from his job, my cancer diagnosis, and putting our two dogs down. Plus aging can changed things.

He's a lipid guy. He has had low ldl for a long time. No doctor tests for homocysteine levels at least not our primary care doctors. He supplements with B12. Oatmeal has Omega 3 and 6.

After his heart attack, he immediately switched to WFPB, but continued to have high triglycerides levels. He finally realized he was eating too much essene bread and raisins. As it stands now he is strict McDougall WFPB. He still has to be very disciplined with his eating...he's an eating machine which at times drives me crazy.
