I honestly believed that the Phillies were gonna win 100 games this year and steam roll the NL East after the second week of the season. I was not looking forward to it. Man I can’t imagine how disappointed Phillies fans must be.
When people laugh and say “ha, the Mets are pathetic this year!” I’m honestly flabbergasted by those saying that. Nobody, outside a few delusional people” thought we were gonna be over .500. This is actually been more enjoyable a season than the 2016 team that made the playoffs (that team was just a chore to watch with a historically bad offense). I mean the Mets are nowhere near the Braves, but that shocked no one. The Phillies being below the Mets is absolutely shocking.
