"This pot broke a couple of years ago and I didn't have time to come in until now"

I, work for a textbook distributor that also works directly with students, and apparently this is a common thing. I had a customer call us recently (August/September) who had used a textbook about 20 years ago and failed the class. She was now trying to get us in trouble with the Department of Education for the textbook having incorrect information, and we are liable for selling it. Here's the kicker, it was an Operating System textbook. She was claiming that the incorrect information was the Windows 98 (which about 1/3 - 1/2 of the textbook covered) was "out-of-date" information and we should've been selling books that covered Windows Vista, which was the "newest Windows OS at the time". I actually asked if she was kidding, then proceeded to get screamed at for 10 minutes because it's not funny and she failed the course because of this. So I proceeded to ask her, "you failed a course 20 years ago because this book didn't cover Windows Vista? You then proceeded to wait 20 years to file a complaint because your textbook didn't cover material that didn't exist until 2006/2007? Yeah... no. I'm disconnecting this call. Have a great day"

She then proceeded to call again, got another agent, who basically did the exact same thing. So we contacted the school directly to let them know of this person who went to school there that is now trying to file complaints with us (we work very closely with the schools that we have contracts with). Apparently this lady was an instructor at the school that just got fired from an Intro to Computers course, for refusing to teach the materials that the school was requiring. She refused to teach about anything computer related that was less than five years old. So, as far as this lady is concerned, Windows 8 and 10 didn't exist (even though the computer at her desk, according to the school, was Windows 10), Android was still on KitKat (according to the school she had a Galaxy S7 issued to her by the school), and touchscreen laptops were just a "fad" that would be going away soon. Apparently she had been a nightmare for the school all summer, even going so far as including the cops, and attempting to force her into psychiatric evaluation. I'm guessing not much came of that though.
