Hindu here , extremist Hindus can be dumb af I agree but the average Hindu wouldn't fkn bother. Lol I had an atheist teacher , who would often insult our Gods on our face. She'd openly say stuff like 'Monkey Face' , 'Elephant Face ' . Ganpati ( Elephant God) is kinda a big deal where I live, and during Ganpati festival she'd openly say stuff like , 'Did the Elephant come to poop at your houses yet ? ' 'Ask your parents to cater to your idiotic asses instead of the Elephant's fat ass ' and all of this sounds way more offensive in my local language. But no one bothered. Also she's still alive and teaches in the same school XD. My point is , the average Hindu is used to all this and doesn't really care. Even all the Indian comedians , movies and such openly insult our Gods and traditions. There are a lot Hindus who don't mind eating beef (my dad also eats ). Sorry if I'm offending anyone but the so called 'liberal' media and people wouldn't dare to say similar stuff about Islam though. The last time a son of a politician openly called Muhammed a pedophile (in retaliation to someone calling Krishna a player ) , the peaceful religion started a riot in Bangalore. So I don't like how people assume that Hindus and Muslims have the same mindset. Hindus dont burn cities when someone criticizes us. We are quite tolerant (thats why India is the most diverse country). We don't forcefully convert people or go to other countries and impose our religion on others everywhere. Our community and practices can coexist with any other religion or nationality. But to each their own opinion.
