Powell tells '60 Minutes' that US economy is at an 'inflection point'

i'm not saying that it's stable but there's more going on than just waiting for stability. housing prices are unlikely to come down significantly in the next 10 years, what we're seeing is that the wealth gap combined with some other factors basically means that housing demand is going to be very high for a long time. this is a window to get into owning property, depending on where you live.

but it's complicated so talking about this in generalities doesn't really work.

I don't foresee a situation when they just keep ramping up and I don't wind up being underwater a few years down the road

they will likely level off and maybe dip a little, then keep going up. but again it's complicated depending on location and all of that.
