Powerful film we made profiling a Medical Marijuana company - Let us know what you think!

Yoyo! Lots of good images in here, you folks have a great eye. (Love that moment at 1:23 of the pond, really cool. I like the whole ripple in the pond imagery you wanted to imbue with that...)

I feel there is a central issue with the storytelling of the piece: There was more focus placed on aesthetically nice compositions than character building moments/images.

I felt it was fairly melodramatic at points, I think you folks would've been better served showing more people and the positive effects of cannabis on their lives instead of super dramatic shots of a chap walking around the woods.

Audio script wasn't bad, but it would've really helped visually if you built to showing a lot more people doing what they do because they're able to use medical cannabis.

Like that shot of the dude's hand on the tree...that was super unnecessary and a bit cheesy...that doesn't reveal any information or drive home a point, it's just a pretty/textural shot that doesn't give us anything. That's a moment that could've been lost to give us another character or another person. (All the establishing stuff from :10 to :22 should be lost...it's just nice images of the woods...we don't need that! give us a person to connect with!)

Also, the shots of "real" people don't really give any information about who they are or why they need cannabis. Yeah I get that you used the "arthritis" line over the girl running by the water, but that's it. The visuals don't reveal anything about her or the fact that she has issues with her knees or something...it's just a gal running. The young girl at 1:28 or the lady with the horse? What? Who are they? Those are just random shots of people...they don't really suggest anything about them.

I like the one image of the old dude opening his blinds to let the light in...more of that! It's givin' us some information/symbolism.

That being said, there is a lot of beautiful stuff here and it's clear ya'll have a great mind for cinematic storytelling!
