I don't think election results are predetermined, but I do think the wealthy elites from the various industries and sectors to everything in their power through money, media, and connections to get specific candidates elected.

In this scenario, some billionares hedge their bets and find candidates from each party to support. As I mentioned above, their use of connections comes in the form of rallying support from millionaires to also donate and get involved. These are not from the "elite", but a bit lower in the economic ladder.

I do think Clinton is no brained democratic nominee for them. Bernie Sanders is their number 1 enemy. There's no way they can control him unless you formulate some elaborate conspiracy to fit that narrative. He's funded by the people and actively rallying people to make the elites and wealthy the enemies. Hell, he called out one of their darlings, Henry Kissinger.

Clinton will continue it all. She will work with both sides and find comprise because she wants to profit. She wants power, notoriety, and wealth.

Bush was most likely the military industrial complex's #1 choice, but Trump came in and blew it up. They can't touch him because a civil war could break out from it. There's still too much profit to be made from the people in America.

Now all the chips are falling into Rubio's bag. The donors are pulling the money and going all in on Rubio. He is their poster boy. He destroys the notion that the GOP is racist and old. He's a young, fresh Latino who's delivery is polished. He will be the perfect mouth piece while they ransack the White House.

I think we've entered an era where the rich maneuver to create favorable business opportunities for themselves and there are winners and losers. However, I think they can both agree that anti-Union trade agreements and increased surveillance are agendas they will continue to push in unison. Both create favorable climates to undercut democracy and preserve the current power structure from being challenged.
