The `PR' here in the last few days was quite frustrating.

I think in response to a dishonest government, all of those responses (even as farfetched as some of them may be) are normal and to be expected. The gov’t is knowingly telling lies and this makes people skeptical. Skepticism breeds conspiracy theories. The sad thing is- some of the so-called “conspiracies” like Chan Yin Lam’s death may actually be true- but sadly we will never know. That being said- we should all remember to rely on facts- and less on speculations.

As long as the CCP is still treating people like they are doing in Xin Jiang, I will never support them. In my eyes, the protestors can never be as bad as the CCP. I will always criticise when the protestors take it too far, but there is almost nothing they can do that would make me change my mind. Until the CCP starts respecting free speech and human rights, I will always be against them.

I also think that 99% of the protestors have shown incredible restraint, considering how they have been treated by police. I think they are doing the best they can, and I am content with that.
