PR Salary Expectations Post-Grad and Career

Thank you! I worked hard, but honestly getting here has been just as much luck as it has been hustle. In my experience career paths are dependent on cosmic luck, networking, hustle and negotiating your ass off. This might be a weird thing to say based on my comp, but I strongly believe that someone’s salary is not a good indicator of their competence. I know people who are much smarter than me who make significantly less and folks who are complete dummies making far more. All this is to say, titles and $$$ are only a small part of the big picture.

TC= total comp (base+stock)

The current market is hot garbage if you’re in tech. Not sure about others though! The good news is there’s typically always a high demand for junior staff, so you may not be impacted as much.
