Prayer for unbelievers

Sadly, there is no evidence to whether God exists.

Then that's pretty much the end of the discussion with non believers.

I'm glad you continued asking questions then. It means you're interested.

Conversely, there is no factual scientific evidence that disproves God.

Conversely, there is no factual scientific evidence that disproves that I'm god. If that doesn't convince you, why would you think it would convince anyone else?

I don't think it would convince you or anyone. You're missing my entire point here which is, there is nothing that I can say that will convince you. Again, the kingdom of God is not in words, but in power. God will reveal himself to you if and when you are ready to accept who and what he is.

I could get into the talk about faith, but that is widely used, and therefore has lost most of its meaning to some people.

Faith is not a path to truth because you have no way of distinguishing between a true faith and a false faith. It's a meaningless concept and we don't find it convincing at all.

You may have faith in your god, the guy down the street has faith in his god, another person has faith in other gods, and I have no way to tell which is true and which isn't.

This is why I didn't elaborate on faith. If you would have quoted the rest of what I previously said, about the spaghetti monster and Santa, I don't think you would have an argument here. Also, faith is not the pathway to truth, Jesus is.

I agree, it's not enough to talk about God and Jesus, and spout verses from the bible... Which I'm going to do now

I'll stop you there. Why should any non-belief care what your old book says?

If someone cared at all about an afterlife living eternally with God, living peacefully, joyfully, and lovingly, all the while having God's mystery revealed, then they might be interested in actually studying the "old book."

I never try to woo anyone with sob stories or fancy talk. It never works.

Except you did just that with appeals to faith, shifting the burden of proof, failing to actually present valid evidence, and quoting an old book.

I'm flattered that you think that is fancy talk, but that's not what that was. Firstly, I didn't appeal to faith because I didn't elaborate on it. I didn't put the burden of proof on anything, there is no valid evidence yo Christianity. Not scientifically, at least. Lastly, the Bible is a tool used to teach people the way to eternal life. It would be wrong not to quote it.

Until God works in that persons life, they remain blinded to God's beauty, grace, mercy, love, and joy.

I'll tell you what, why don't you go and ask your god why he hasn't bothered to make his existence clearly known to everyone.

God made his existence known through Jesus Christ.

I'm not trying to be mean about it, but there's a major point I'm trying to get across. If someone of a different religion tried to use the same points you did and attempted to convert you, would you find it convincing?

I'm guessing the answer is no.

Noy trying to be mean? You could've fooled me with your stabbing remarks, but I'm not one to judge. After all, I don't know the tone of voice you're using.

If someone from a different religion talked about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, then they would be talking Christianity, and there would be no point in convincing me because that's what I already believe in.

If you want more questions answered, I suggest seeking out a pastor. He would be more than happy to answer your questions about God, and give you some resources to study. After all, your eternity depends on knowing Christ.
