PRC Army is right outside of HK now

How do you employ any of those in the US without inflicting civilian casualties? How long does a military stay loyal when their attacks are killing the very people they are supposedly protecting? How long until people refuse to support a government that kills its own people?

The minute the US government starts inflicting collateral damage is the minute it loses all support. Images of dead innocent Americans would be plastered across every media network 24/7 accompanied by “30 AMERICAN CIVILIANS KILLED IN GOVERNMENT AIRSTRIKE”.

Not only that, but the military has a well-documented conservative leaning. Anecdotally, that gets much stronger when you get into a combat MOS. How many ‘MURICA-loving military men would be willing to turn their weapons on other Americans? Especially if the rebels are other conservatives fighting a government that is trying to disarm them?

Finally, if all of those Wunderwaffen are so great, how the hell did the Viet Cong and Taliban manage to win back control of their respective countries? Perhaps the military is unsuited to fighting insurrections as evidenced by Vietnam, the Balkans, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan...
