Pre-hiatus fans reaction on their comeback

  1. I was happy just to hear new FOB when I heard it. Hear Patricks insane vocals in the song. It's probably my least favorite song on SRAR but I still like it alot.

  2. The music video on it's own is whatever. The Young Blood Chronicles in full is amazing and I love it. It makes me happy because they always wanted to do a music video as a short film because of Micheal Jackson. That is what they tried to do with a Little Less Sixteen Candles. But they didn't have the money like they did for SRAR. So I'm glad they got that opportunity finally.

  3. Yes I realized it was FOB the first time because literally no one sounds like Patrick.

  4. I don't really understand this question. Sorry. Haha.

  5. The news to me was whatever. FOB has been my boys forever. The first time I saw them was opening for Mest. I still have my framed and signed Warped Tour posted from 04 when they were playing a side baby stage. I knew they weren't fully into it anymore when they put Folie out. I personally have never liked that album, it was one of the biggest disappointments ever. It's one of the most forced sounding albums ever.

I know everyone on here loves that album and can get mad because I'm allowed to have my own opinions. FOB when they went on hiatus, I said "Good." And they shortly came out afterwards and said they didn't feel like they should be doing something they weren't completely into right now. Putting out stuff just to put out stuff. They needed to go do other things. Then when they came back they gave us this great, amazing start to finish, never skip a song album, SRAR.

It's different from all FOB but I appreciated the originality. Them not holding themselves to being the poster boys of pop punk or emo. Pushing themselves and showing all fo their music capabilities. It's more than just the same five power chords over and over. The lyrics have so much depth. Making an album THEY wanted to make and not what everyone else wanted them to make.

They were back in it for the right reasons. I didn't care that it was kind of out of no where. I loved that. I missed them. Hearing the new album and taking all my brothers to see them for the first time was the best. So I'm grateful.
