The problem against Bournemouth IMO was not the 3-5-2, but the players selected.

Bertrand/Targett = Good, Yoshida/Bertrand = Not Good. Not sure exactly why mainly seemed that Bertrand isn't as confident with Yoshida behind him as Targett is with Bertrand hence less width?

Cedric/JWP = Good, Cedric/Mane = Words almost fail me, Mane was dire didn't hold his position, couldn't pass, didn't help Cedric on defense. Then because Mane went AWOL Cedric tried to cross and we all know what happens then.

Now if I were the manager, call me mad, but Mane cannot start. Would stick with the 3-5-2 because it has been working, maybe even better against a defensive team. Provides width which also creates space for S Davies to get the ball to the attackers. So stick Tadic or anyone but Mane upfront with Pelle.

We're both Clasie and Targett injured, or was that just a poor team selection against Bournemouth? If Clasie is injured replaced him with Reed, if Targett is out I guess I give the Yoshida, Bertrand combo another go or bring in some U21 player.
