Pre-Order Shipping Megathread | iPhone X

I'm FUMING right now. Never been so upset. I just need someone to empathize with me and see if anything can be fixed.

Ordered via apple and got shipping for 11/3. I requested a change of delivery address. The guy on chat confirmed that change and said it would still be delivered 11/3. Never told me there would be any delay. This was 4 days ago.

I never got an update. Been talking to Apple everyday and they said it would appropriately go to the new address. Today it shows it's in the old address on UPS tracking so I call UPS right away. This is the kicker: they say it's going to be shipped via UPS ground shipping, and it will not arrive for another 7 days. Where the UPS workers will throw the phone around, and I was never told there would be any delay. I would have never done it had I heard this.

I call Apple right away and the guy is being super helpful and seeing everything he can do. He put me on hold to talk to a senior guy and I guess there was some automatic transfer and they transfered me to an operator. The operator then transferred me to tech support. Mind you all these holds are like 15 minutes each so I've been on the phone for almost 2 hours now.

I finally get transferred to an older lady who sounds completely rude on the phone from the moment I pick up. She's giving some nasty attitude and saying "one week is not that bad, I'm following protocol, I can't do anything for you" while acknowledging the old chat people made a mistake and shouldn't have said it would be delivered on the same day. She obviously can't do anything to help me and is being a complete B so I just hang up.

WTF do I do now? I'm so upset and can't believe the service on the phone.
