[Prebuilt] CyberPowerPC - Ryzen 7 3700X, 16GB 3000MHz RAM, RTX 2070 SUPER, 2TB HDD + 240GB SSD, Win10 + Borderlands 3 or Outer Worlds - $1,199.99

Working at BestBuy, just wanna share some experience.

There was a customer with his son at my store during the holiday season, I ended up selling them one of CyberPower entry level prebuilts, similar to this guy.

The customer came back to me about a month later, saying that PC was working just fine and his son loved it.. Until it started crashing after 2-3 hour long sessions (gaming or just everyday usage). I felt really bad and handled the problem by doing a free exchange of the same exact model.

Customer came back the next day, this time the machine wouldn't even boot up properly. My first thought was that the boot device wasn't set up correctly in the BIOS so the machine was trying to run windows from the wrong drive which I've easily checked and guess what.. Everything was fine on that end, problem was much more basic.
There was no Windows installed on either drive to begin with :)

Don't wanna go through the boring part of talking to managers/geek squad agents/coworkers, long story short - they all hate CyberPower and don't recommend that brand as there are 2many known issues like units w/o Windows preinstalled, terrible quality powersuplies, motherboards, ram sticks, etc.

Now, I'm not claiming that if you buy this you will run into the same issues, (this is still a pretty good deal value wise) but please make a full research online and if you get a chance to get a similar prebuilt (specs/price wise) from manufacturers like HP (omen series), Asus or even other almost identical brands (think iBuyPower) - I would definitely do that.

I was embarrassed in front of the customer to whom I promised that CyberPower was an OK brand and then I did 3 returns in a row for the same exact model, not gonna make that mistake again.
