Prediction: Ukrainian peace deal

I really don't see a war happening. If anything, a minor incursion, swift response that kills whatever is left of the Russian economy. Their reserves aren't much in the long run even if they're #4 in the world right now.

I expect by year's end Ukraine gets their territories back and agrees to lease ports to Russia. Ukraine has unproven fields for gas and oil, but this behavior from Russia is not about that. Russia has a lot of unproven fields waiting to be discovered.

My comments are tame because despite how furious I have been with Ukraine in the past, their people don't deserve to die in some terrible war. This eye for an eye bullshit really needs to end. If Russia can't have their way with Ukraine, they'll try with Georgia too. We don't need a mass scale war on our doorstep, and no, the 2020 war was not mass scale. The total deaths from the war would be what would happen a few days into an actual war with Russia in Ukraine. The world doesn't need that at all.

God help humanity if this causes a chain reaction of multiple wars in the region popping up.
