But Challengers Finals literally is just a qualifier for Masters 2 though... It's reflected in every decision. It's another four day long tournament that takes place one week after the previous tournament, giving the winners of Challengers 2 very little time to prep. There's less incentive to win the tournament, as a top 2 position is what matters and not the championship itself. The prize pool for Challengers Finals is similarly smaller than for Masters (100,000 compared to 150,000). I just don't see how this event is bigger than Masters... Masters is literally a bigger event in every way. Two week long tournament compared to one week, higher stakes, bigger prize pool, etc.
