This has become an increasing problem as fidelity increases (as stylized as it is in these Harvest-Moon-y games): the player model becomes less of a blank slate. I'd love some basic character customization to help counter that - which is increasingly common in this style of game, so fingers crossed.

I'm more hoping that more than one of the bachelors/bachelorettes skews a bit older, though. Amber and Xiao Pai are cute and all - and I totally get the market for teenage "waifu" characters- but arguing that they're of marriageable age can be a hard and uncomfortable sell. I really appreciated having Iris in Story of Seasons and Clorica in Rune Factory 4 around as older options for that reason.
