There's a lot of voters IRL that are super-silent independents like myself.

But my family just recently immigrated from Ireland which was, until recently, a semi-theocracy that didn't give women basic rights. So I generally end up voting liberal regardless because no amount of liberal insanity can top the thought of bringing back-alley abortions, forcing women to bring unwanted children into the world, and a black-market for mifepristone/misaprostal to America.

But I've also owned assault rifles for safety in uninhabited hog country, know third-wave feminism is far from egalitarian, and don't thing we should waste our time legislating identity politics. I supported gay marriage but also think marriage shouldn't have anything to do with the state and can be functionally accomplished by contract law. And I'm a 1st gen immigrant whose concerned with the fact that we strip immigrants of their human rights like my mother who couldn't prosecute her rapist when she first moved here.

TL/DR If conservatives weren't all over-worked religious zealots trying to regulate my uterus, they'd get more independent voters. Also, I will personally start that black-market if SCOTUS overturns Roe v. Wade.

But there are actually a ton of independents. Look for people who never talk about politics IRL.
