In a press conference Uvalde police say they “believe” they didn’t (copspeak for they totally did) shoot some of the kids at the school

Plus if a shooting victim calls saying they were shot, their information should be able to be pulled up

If you think the police can and should look up the employment history of every shooting victim instantly and just assume that if someone who was shot and used to work at a school, that automatically means they are probably going to go shoot up the school.... Well no.

The police can't instantly look up your employment history.

99% of people who work or used to work at a school and are murdered are not a precursor to a school shooting.

99% of school shooters do not begin by shooting a relative who used to work at a school.

I'm not saying the police were slow, but that it's absolutely batshit insane to think that a school shooting can be predicted because someone who used to work at a school was shot.
