They only say "titan class" to make the insane price seem reasonable and try to spin the 3080 as the flagship
The 3080 is what nvidia wants you to buy. That's what they expect everyone to buy. Every 80 series card has always had a certain part of the die disabled. The 3090 is just a 3080 without those cores disabled.

Titans always use as much of the core, and thereby as much power, as possible. Usually matching or exceeding the closest geforce equivalent.
And has less VRAM than what the new gen titan is supposed to have
I think it's pretty unlikely they have a titan on the way. And even more unlikely it has more than 24GB VRAM.
The 3090 is just a rebranded titan. They're also rebranding their true workstation cards, so it makes sense they'd drop the titan naming.
