This is a press statement by the football fans group in Germany. They have written that the Germany should boycott World Cup 22 in Qatar. They added that the football fest in a graveyard of migrant workers is the end of ethics. Sorry, couldn't find a english version but I think this is worth sharing

Translation: The cruel circumstances of the construction of the world cup infrastructure in Quatar are sadly not new to us. As early as six years ago, [a union] pointed out the highly discrimminatory and dangerous conditions for working migrants in Quatar. These workers have to, not only work under circumstances which we consider exploitation and highly dangerous and live in undignified circumstances, but also are factually without rights. This goes so far, that they are not even allowed to return to their home countries without the permission of their employer. In febuary the number of dead migrant workers reached the sad number of 6.700. This means that every seven hours a migrant worker from the indian subcontinent dies in Quatar. It is too late to save those lives but we cannot look away. Sport connects nations regardless of politics, the way one looks at the world and religion. It is important to preserve these connections and to constantly renew them. But this is not a question of politics or culture but human rights, the right to life. We are well aware that lots of football-fans are excited for the games of our national team. We are also aware that for many players the world cup presents the very summit of their careers. We are football fans, we love this sport. But there can be no justification to tolerate and even support these human rights violations by participating in the event. The calls are getting louder and Pro Fans [this group] is standing with those wo feel a boycott of this event is necessary. We call on the german football federation to cancel their participation for the world cup in Quatar. To participate in a celebration of football, on the graves of all those workers who died - would be the end of ethics and dignity. We turn our backs on this event in disgust. Football is more than just a game. Football is also: Social and societal responsibility. We are certain that others would follow Germanys example. If the german football federation wishes to retain its last ounce of credibility, it must not participate in this tournament and it has to make this descision now!
