Pressure mounts on hold-out Democrats with one day left to support net neutrality

Yup. There weren't many Senate seats up for reelection but most of the House was. In 2020 it will be time for an even bigger push to take at least the Senate, if not the White House.

People forget that all federal elections (and state/local) are important. That it isn't just the one that corresponds to the presidential election, even though that one is the sexiest. That if you don't make your voice heard in all of them, it often means that you just end up with half measures, one of the other branches passing measures to neuter others, or deadlocked government.

The GOP has a serious advantage in the fact that historically the older generation is the one that votes in all elections, while younger generations only vote in the presidential. Hopefully, we can use social media and new media to help fix this problem. And yes, it is ironic because those same platforms are being used to radicalize less savvy older generations and a percentage of the younger generation not adept at critical thinking, who aren't adapt as sifting through the bullshit.

Remember that this isn't about even voting along party lines, but voting for/against anyone who is/isn't a shill/nutjob for in the elections for Congress, State, and Local. But also remembering that whoever is currently elected into various positions is you god damn representative and you are their constituent, whether you voted for them or not... so remember that when they do something positive/negative (or are about too) call/email/snail-mail them with your feedback.
