I did this last week accidentally! My husband was pumping the gas and went inside to grab a blunt wrap while it was going. I, being a good wife, thought I'd go drive up to the parking spot close to the door to get him not realizing it was still pushed into the gas thingy. Luckily it was finished pumping! It was very loud and I noticed immediately. Idk how anyone could not notice. I stopped, got out, people came over and asked if I was okay lol. It is a magnetic device so no harm was done to the pump or hose. My husband came out, laughed at me, went in and told the gas station worker and said the dude seemed annoyed as if this happens often. I will never live it down I am sure lol
