Pretty sure my credit is irreparable at this point

I’m sure you’re feeling overwhelmed but as someone who used to be in a similar position as yours, let me reassure you there is a way.

Removing negative and incorrect items off your credit report should be your first step.

Follow up with consolidating your debt and making larger monthly payments whenever possible. By doing so you’ll lower your debt to credit ratio and increase your credit score.

Next I recommend opening a secure credit card, consider it a clean slate of credit where creditors can see how responsible you are with a new line of credit. Put a revolving bill on it (Spotify, etc) and set it to auto pay. This too will increase your credit score

Last but not least, if you have a partner or family with good credit and a long standing line of credit with a low debt ratio. Ask them to add you as an authorized user. This will help immensely.

Debt sucks, but there is a way out. Key is being consistent. Best of luck Op
