Priced Out

Thank you, this is exactly what I was trying to get at. I’m not sure how people are seeing this as some sort of ungrateful post because my family was able to go when I was younger regularly. People also seem to be very triggered that my family went for five days, but there are people on here who go weekly. My husband and I worked overtime, saved everything we could, and spent three years saving for this big trip for our son. I’m not sure why this is so triggering to some especially when I see post on here about people with magic keys going all the time. I’m also not sure why the fact that I have a mortgage has come up to trigger people as well, but people are really losing it lately.

My whole point was 20 years ago my Middle-class parents were able to put money aside for a yearly trip whereas now many Americans could only dream of going to Disneyland one day.
