I like how red is a big sensory trigger in nature. It's a danger/warning sign (blood! injury! attention!), a sometimes sneaky deterrent (don't eat me, I'm poisonous! or am I...) and also a billboard for DTF/deliciousness. Basically it calls attention to itself. Especially with mind games and predator/prey stuff, I like to see if there's themes of red running throughout. The pilot episode mentions how Syd hates cherries -- bloody raw red food. There's the obvious blood red floodlights when Yellow Eyes freaks out and trashes Clockworks. Then the red interrogation table at D3.

I'm interested in how red and green make yellow. I was barking up the wrong tree for a while thinking there was something to blue and yellow making green.
