US and UK strike are not that illegitimate. An agreement was reached last year with the different actors (Russia included) that legitimize retaliation in case of usage of chemical weapon in Syria. However, since then, Russia have systematicaly blocked every attempt to have people on the ground actively monitoring the use of chemical weapon. Now, secret service of multiple western power are all saying at the same times that the regime have again used chemical weapon. What are we supposed to do?

Let Russia and Syria get away with it? Western powers need to stand their grounds against Russia and make sure that the internal law is enforced. Russia is gaining influence because the West is giving up on standing up for the principle that we are supposed to fight for...
