The Prince Wants Out Of Cleveland

At the age of 25 years old Kyrie Irving has accomplished a lot in his NBA and basketball life. Kyrie was named NBA Rookie of The Year in 2012, been selected to The NBA All Star Game 4 times, been selected as The FIBA World Cup MVP in 2014 and won an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

After losing to the Warriors in the Finals this June Kyrie has decided that he wants to be traded from Cleveland to be a leader on another team and get away from LeBron after telling multiple reporters that he does not like playing with LeBron. A lot of Cavalier fans are sad and disappointed that Kyrie wants out. What really seems weird though is that he wants be traded to a team like the New York Knicks. If Kyrie Irving wants to win more championships he is not going to get it done in New York with all that Phil Jackson drama and the fact that their best player in Carmelo Anthony has been waiting to be traded for the longest period of time. Besides they haven't had a .500 record since the 2012-2013 NBA season.

Kyrie also said that he would want to be traded with the Miami Heat. If he would join the Heat he would have to deal with a lot of pressure of having to win championships because he would have to see the two championship banners on the ceiling of American Airlines Arena that LeBron James was able to deliever in Miami and knowing that the Miami Heat fans would want him to do the same thing. Kyrie also wouldn't mind being traded to the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves and they both have good coaches in Gregg Popovich who coaches the Spurs and Tom Thibodeau who coaches for the Timberwolves.

Kyrie Irving is still under contract with the Cavaliers and is not able to become a free agent until 2020. But maybe what Kyrie Irving is frustrated about is the fact that LeBron might ditch him in 2018 to join with Lonzo Ball and a struggling Los Angeles Lakers franchise. Or perhaps Kyrie is frustrated about how LeBron might ditch him play with his friends in Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony. No matter how frustrated Kyrie Irving is it's all up to the Cavaliers front office to decide if Kyrie should be traded. But we should all know that Kyrie Irving helped bring a championship to Cleveland and none of us should ever forget that.
