Alright then let’s talk numbers

Destiny confirmed to have a peak 250000 concurrent players, destiny was at spot 4 at this time.

Halo has fallen out of Top 10 repeatedly while destiny never left, now destiny is 7 and halo is 9.

Since destiny has obviously lost some of its concurrent player base let’s say that it’s at 150000 now to be generous.

So halo falls far enough below 150000 concurrent players to regularly be passed by rainbow six, minecraft, SPORTS GAMES, and rocket league.

I would say the fairest estimate for concurrent players in halo based off other game’s player counts is 5-10k on steam and 80-100k on Xbox.

That is MEASLY for a BRAND NEW AAA Halo release. Flagship title btw.

Dont be an apologist for a game where many users literally can’t even play because there aren’t enough players to queue against. Never forget 2 months after release Xbox tweeted that 20 MILLION people have played infinite at least once, and only 80-100k come back at all. That’s an egregiously low retention rate compared to its competitors, Warzone, Apex, and Fortnite which are regularly or always top 3 most played.
