Pro-Life that became Pro-Choice, what argument convinced you?

Atheist here. Feel that’s important to add.

I was pro life because I felt life began around 7 weeks, when the heart began beating. Having two kids, seeing the ultrasound, loving them from the start made it hard to imagine NOT wanting a baby.

Then I realized I would have an abortion if I were to get pregnant again, and I realized ultimately it’s a grey area and it’s neither good nor evil, it just IS.

Some women want abortions, some don’t. Both feelings are valid and no one else should decide what we do with our own bodies.

Wish I could express in words the click I had, but it just sort of happened. I was always feminist to my core, but abortion was hard for me to comprehend until I experienced those feelings first hand.

And now I sit and eat my humble pie.

Pregnancy is a choice.
