Some people are literally addicted to sex. There are quizzes you can take to find out if you are. But understand that something a person who was truly addicted to sex might do is pay to have sex with someone who may very well have HIV. And they might not even care if they wear a condom or not. That's sex addiction.

Anyways, as someone who actually has very little desire to have sex (1x in the last 7-8 years), I can tell you that, as a guy, I believe that it is just natural to rub one out every once in awhile. You might do it more, but I find that after 4-5 days, I feel a little uncomfortable if I don't masturbate. Like there's an itch I can't scratch, that sort of thing.

Could I go longer? I could and have. But then it's a struggle against this uncomfortable feeling. It might simply be the feeling that I get from having too much sperm built up, Idk.

So, to me, this release is about feeling better and bodily maintenance. It's like washing my hair or clipping my nails. It just needs to be done.
