Vyvanse is basically the same but has the isomers of the Adderall drug removed so you can take smaller doses and have the same effects. My spouse is a psychiatrist. There is also an antidepressant that functions in a similar way in the brain called Wellbutrin. It is like half antidepressant and half stimulant. The good thing about these is they don't have the sexual side effects. I've been on Adderall for years I have ADHD and depression. It has been a game changer for me and I am doing better than I ever have. It really doesn't hurt to give it a go and see if it helps. Antidepressants can take a few weeks to work but Adderall works right away. Different levels are available so it's important to find the right dosage.
