problesm with Vertical Axion

Herman here. Your team made the initial request on Friday at 11:30am and we delivered your site export this afternoon with screenshot instructions on how to import it into wordpress.

At 11:30am your team requested to cancel.

At 11:35am Brian contacted your team back via email.

At 1:42pm Brian sent a second email

At 1:44pm asked for a SQL dump

At 1:47pm Brian sent an email telling you we would provide the HTML export per your contract.

At 3:53pm you or your team replied "Thanks we should be ready to flip the DNS in two weeks..."

I got the request personally at around 4:49pm when I was next available.

I asked Taylor our CTO to export the site and create an instruction guide for you.

It was closing time for us. Our CTO, Taylor, had to take his 6 year old daughter to Karate practice. I promised my wife I would take her to a movie.

After hours, someone on your team sent an angry email detailing that unless we provide you with data in your preferred format you would provide a not favorable review to a "powerful peer group" you are part of (I am assuming this is it). I find it best to not respond to people who are talking about trying to harm my business until I can provide them with a full answer, even more so when I have just asked my staff to take good care of them first thing Monday. Besides that, it was my birthday Saturday and I didn't want anyone to ruin good times.

Monday morning Taylor created the backup. He documented a process for you and sent it all to you this afternoon at 3:43pm.

I know that we usually provide resolution within 1 hour, but we like to go over the exports to make sure they work so it takes us a little longer. The exports work fine as a stand alone HTML site, but if you want to import them into wordpress, it can be done. We even provided you with the name of the plugin, documented the settings needed and tested it ourselves.

At no time was anyone on your staff told they could not have a backup.

I'll not be responding to this issue in public again. I would not have even detailed it except for the fact that your statement is false.

I appreciate the input from my clients who know we do all we can to help people and spoke up in this thread.

Best of luck in your future endeavors. If you come to find that switching was not the right choice, we are still here for you.

Best wishes,

Herman
