Is your belief that this sort of thing happens often enough that he shouldn't be scrutinized? I feel like any other instance where a player didn't get scrutinized was probably not significant, cause if, according to your rhetoric, people are getting angry to stroke their egos, then they should be getting angry about every little thing any pro player messes up. And as a result, only pro players who make no mistake would keep their career.
