Is a programming boot camp from the University of Denver worth it?

If your question is “will this bootcamp on my resume get me a job”, the answer is not on its own. You need to want to be a programmer and the ability to learn how to do it. You also need a great portfolio and to work on coding outside the bootcamp. Like, I saw you mention that this bootcamp will give you 30 projects. You are going to have to keep making projects and working on your skills while you interview. Interviewing after the bootcamp will definitely take months and months. Not to be dramatic but with the state of the economy and hiring in tech, it will probably take up to a year or more.

If you can cut it, teach yourself and save yourself the $13k. If it’s widely known the bootcamp is a scam anyway, imagine what a recruiter or hiring manager that believes this will think when they see it on your resume.
