ok... let me spell this out for you.... the term "the young turks" did not come from a pop song in the 80's. It came from a group that called themselves The Young Turks. They did the thing that gave us the word genocide. It was derived to describe what The Young Turks did. And they weren't just counter culture. They were a theocratic militaristic zealotry that was opposed to every single progressive thought you've ever had in your head. Cenk decided to call his group The Young Turks because Turks are raised to this day to put Ataturk on a pedestal for this movement and deny the genocide wholesale. If you would for just a second have a moment of introspection you might have thought "gee, maybe this person is talking about something I'm not the end all be all authority on", and go google what a festering wart on progressiveness this person is.
