Don't misunderstand - my issue is from the way in which it was handled. If you're going to change something that has more or less become "tradition", at least give a heads-up beforehand. We got no warning until it was too late to do anything about it, and that was bad faith.

Having said that, I never questioned or protested the intention behind the move.

Those ships now stand as a token of gratitude for those who can say "I was here, I contributed".

That, I think, is fair.

The way the exclusivity of the Mirror Guardian has been handled, I feel, is a case of bad faith in both intention and practice.

If we are being told to regard the Mirror Guardian as an "exclusive event ship", then it should be available under the same terms as the other "exclusive event ships".

The objective was $25,000. The counter is nearly at $50,000. It may well hit $55,000 by the time we're done.

To those protesters who want the Mat'Ha and Aelahl bundle to be increased in quantity? No, sorry, leave those to The 2500™. Perfect World gave away $300,000 worth of merch. Credit where it's due, they've been generous. Let's not be ungrateful here.

Mirror Guardian is a different story. Holding it back will not benefit PWE, because it's not for sale, therefore its profit potential is $0. Here, at least, it will do some good.

More importantly, it would be an act of good faith and reciprocity.

Also, it's gorram charity, for Lassie's sake! Keep the spirit!

(....although for what it's worth, I personally don't even like the Guardian.)
