[Kramer is buying a coffee from some street vendor as people are walking past with signs and yelling and what not when one of the activists gets behind Kramer in line to buy coffee]
Guy: Hey, can you believe it?
Kramer: Wha-- No I can't! It's totally unacceptable! [Kramer gestures wildly in the air]
Guy: Yeah, see you get it! There need to be more people like us!
Kramer: A man has rights and shouldn't be kept waiting like this! They treat us like animals!
[Kramer brushes his hair in his manic way that he does]
Guy: Man ... you are just so right. Look I can't wait around any longer. We'll be down on 15th and Jackson for the next few days, come check us out.
[Guy pats Kramer on the back and takes off. The guy getting his coffee in front of Kramer finally gets it and walks away and Kramer steps up to order]
Kramer: Yeah, I'll grab a large. What was that guys beef?! He took forever! You've got customers back here ya know!
[Scene changes to Jerry's apartment, with Jerry sitting watching a movie and the buzzer sounds, Jerry walks to get it]
Jerry: Talk to me.
George: George.
[Jerry Buzzes him up and unlocks the door and resumes watching his movie]
George: Oh hey, good movie!
Jerry: Yeah, it isn't too bad. The main actress does this thing with her mouth though ... I dunno, but it's kinda soured the rest of the movie for me.
George: Yeah, just wait until the end ... you'll love it Jerr!
[George grabs a beer from the fridge and sits next to Jerry, passing him a beer]
Jerry: What do you mean? You've seen it? It's only just come out on DVD! I got it today!
George: Jerry, Jerry, Jerry. You're living in the past my friend. The internet is where it's at now. People don't BUY movies anymore, they download them! All that money you waste on those -- [George gesticulates towards a stand full of DVD cases next to the TV] and I can get them all for free Jerry! AND, they don't take up nearly as much space. I tell ya Jerry, it's a beautiful world we live in.
Jerry: You know that's illegal right? George I like you, but I'm not coming to pass you packs of cigarettes when you're in prison so you can barter with them.
George: No one goes to prison for downloading movies! It's scare tactics. People Jaywalk all the time, but how many people get arrested for that?
Jerry: I don't know ... but you hear about those cases where they make an example out of one guy and he owes lots of money and goes to jail for years.
[The door buzzes and Jerry jumps up to get it]
Jerry: Y'ellow?
Elaine: Hey, it's me.
George: You don't think, out of ALL the people Jerry. And think about that. ALL the people that download movies, that I'd be the one they picked on?
Jerry: Out of all the people George, I daresay you'd be the one they picked on. I mean you have the worst luck with .... well everything! Of course it'd be you they picked, you're an obvious choice! Single man, living in a crappy apartment--
George: Hey! My apartment is not crappy! The pigeons have finally moved out!!!
Jerry: -- and you download movies when you earn enough money to be able to buy them. Prime Target.
[Elaine Enters]
Elaine: Hey guys. OH! That movie is finally out on DVD??? How is it?
Jerry: Yeah it's ok ... but the main actor has a twitch in his eye and .. I don't know ... it kinda just ruins the movie for me.
George: You're wrong Jerry! [George starts to become more fidgety and more visibly nervous]
Elaine: Wrong about what?
Jerry: George has turned to a life of crime. Next he's going to download a car.
Elaine: George ... you pirated a movie?! What the hell is wrong with you!?
George: I wanted to watch it before it came out! What's so wrong with that OK?
Elaine: George, my friend Helen's son got caught by the feds doing that! He's been fined $500,000 and is serving 6 years! Apparently they're really doing a crackdown.
[George's eyes go wide and he races to the door]
George: They can't arrest me if I delete all the movies!
[George races out]
Elaine: What a poor fool.
[The two resume watching the movie in silence for a few moments]
Jerry: ... I mean if they opened a prison nearby, I MIGHT visit him with cigarettes I GUESS ....
[Elaine gives him a strange look and takes George's seat to watch the rest of the movie]
