Props to PPD responding on Powell tonight

Because people in Portland are PASSIVE aggressive. They're brave (well....that might not be the right word here :P), passive aggressive jerks in their cars, brave and outspoken online, brave and forceful during large protests, but they are rarely brave or take action if there's even the slightest scent of danger or chance they could personally and negatively be affected by the situation. Most (sometimes all), will just stand and stare, like deer in headlights. Also, most people here won't help with something unless they will personally benefit from it, someone they want to impress is watching, or it fits their current agenda. Otherwise they'll just take out their iPhone and film. I like to call them Slacktivists. They talk a big, big talk, but when it really counts, they retreat into their shells. Head in the sand type people, Portlanders.
