Prosecutor sues Justice Department over schizophrenic college student shot 59 times by officers

Sure you did.

While it's true this is a thing, it's very rare and there's no chance they would have told you.

The "test" is just entrance into the academy, and it's your performance, aptitude, and enthusiasm that are evaluated during the academy that determines suitability.

If you were not accepted into the academy it's probably because you couldn't meet the basic fitness requirements, were part of an over represented group (i.e. the department is 90 percent white in a 60 percent African American community), or there were basic problems with the psych screening questions.

Believe it or not, police departments want intelligent officers and they do not have enough people flooding the academy to throw away good applicants because they are afraid they will be too intelligent to fit in or will get bored with the job. That's literally why the academy exists.

But go ahead and keep telling yourself that.
