Once again, you’re not processing what I’m saying. Yes, marriage is a big deal.

However, regardless of whether or not you get married, your life will likely proceed pretty similarly to how it would have anyway. The little changes might be important to you if you feel like you’re missing something, but in the grand scheme of your life very little will actually change.

I’m not telling you how to live your life, I’m just suggesting that whining about a rich guy donating to an anti-LGBT charity is really going to do almost next to nothing, and I feel like most smart people (as you seem to be) could find more intelligent expenditures of their time.

Like right now, instead of arguing with you on something we will both probably not change our minds about, I could somehow be bettering my life somehow. Hm. Maybe I’ll take my own advice
