Protesting parents don’t understand: Sex ed should be here to stay

Actually, that's about gender, not orientation or sexual practices. I know you don't understand the difference, but there is one.

There's less difference than you think, since obviously gender identity will correlate with and predict sexual orientation in obvious ways. Maybe you don't realize the difference between gender ideology and science?

What a bizarrely constrained, naive understanding of human sexuality this is, to think that only penetrative intercourse "counts" as sex

I had a feeling you would ignore my brackets and leap on this, as it is an easy point for simplistic thinkers to leap on. Sex is physical union, and will always involve physicality, sensory feedback, and the cognitive mechanisms that model our bodies and the parts of our bodies as inside/outside. Except for a very tiny minority, kissing will never be sex in the same way that penetrative intercourse will be. Physical penetration with limbs or fingers will do better, but one should be very skeptical that it will have the same psychological force and import as penetrative intercourse. Sex and the sexual organs are highly evolved, and one should be extremely skeptical of their ability to be completely rewired in anything other than a very small proportion of the populace. As is often the case, those pushing sexual liberation most strongly are just as often equally uninformed on human sexuality as the bigots.

I also find it hilarious you assume I am straight.

What really does best help most trans people with dysphoria is transitioning - according to, you know, actual medical experts with credibility in the field

The field is not nearly as simple as you seem to think (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/michael-w-chapman/johns-hopkins-psychiatrist-transgender-mental-disorder-sex-change).
