I do not sign up to teach children how to lose gracefully. Anecdotally, I have seen children cry multiple times over losing games. I have not seen grown men do this.

Also, to your point about adults getting salty about FNM. Do you know why people complain about it? People complain about it because it is frustrating and annoying to deal with. Similarly, children who get upset are frustrating and annoying to deal with.

I'm not even sure if I can rebuke the statement that intentionally throwing a game to a child is "deceiving and frankly disrespectful." This is just a statement that comes from someone with little to no experience with children.
