Proven Offer Strategies

Strat #1 is basically what worked for us. Our agent got her info early and we submitted a high offer before it went live. Ours was the first in, and we told them we were flexible and ready to close asap but were comfortable with a rent back if they needed it. They were a little skittish about accepting an offer sight unseen, but after one day of back to back showings (ours included,) they decided they didn't like all the people in their house and accepted our offer.

We had all the disclosures signed before we walked the house, had all the inspections done in a week (waived repairs but we could walk if we chose,) and we closed 25 days after they accepted. It was an intense month, but it was worth it!
