For me, I don’t want to use cables. Hence why I purchased this headset when it dropped. But, after a few months of initial use - it fell apart and the leather “sprayed” onto the cups fell apart.

This headset was sufficient in audio quality but lacked in the department of battery life and not to mention it lacked the ability to really do what I wanted with it. Every other wireless headset I own, works with every device I own.

I just want my PlayStation to function with those same headsets without the requirement of extra peripherals and/or cables.

I guess you could say I’m primarily doing it for fun. It’ll be an interesting method to allow audio functionality on any device I choose.

I’m already sketching up a design to fit this board into a small mountable container that’ll run off of a single 18550 battery - and using the onboard pins for audio out, I’ll hookup a single aux jack out for audio transmission. Thus essentially redirecting the audio from the board to any device on the fly.

Instead of using the headset in its current format, it’ll be hacked up to support every other aux connected device I own. I guess.
