PS5 price to increase in select markets due to global economic environment, including high inflation rates

My console doesn't have an Nvidia console for me to jump into to check for another update.

Consoles get updates too. And all you have to do is check to automatically install updates and it's all taken care of for you. Not to mention, most games will run just fine with out of date graphics drivers on PC - unlike a console where lots of things will just refuse to load or lock out functionality.

And then through pages of video settings that the buckets of high vs ultra vs whatever isn't good enough and I have to get into creating a mix of settings for my system.

Can you tell us what modern game you're trying to play that doesn't have a 'Detect settings' option? Because it's definitely the exception rather than the rule.

When did you last actively PC game? Because it sounds like probably ~2005.
