Absolutely massive difference between the Playstations and the Xbox’s. I remember being very young playing the first Xbox, probably Halo or something, my dad said we needed to upgrade our console because it was getting old and wasn’t quite what we needed anymore. He told me that the Xbox 360 was an absolutely fantastic upgrade and said we could get it as an early birthday present, he said that it would be the biggest possible upgrade at that time from the first Xbox. Long story short I went to the shop for him round the corner with my £400 cash in my pocket to get an upgrade. I ended up overhearing some kids talking about how much better the new PlayStation was and that it was a bit cheaper. Wanting desperately to impress my hard to please dad I ended up buying the new PlayStation and with the left over money bought me and my father some sausage rolls on the way home. When I got in he asked me to help him plug the Xbox in and I proudly informed him that I got us sausage rolls and the new PlayStation and not the Xbox. He told me to follow him in to the garage where he kept his money and I thought I was going to get some extra pocket money for being so smart! No. He beat the absolute living shit out of me with a set of jumper cables and informed me that Xbox was the superior console because of Halo, even called me a noob as the cables slammed into my fragile body.
